The penalization on the players is not fair one bit because they had no clue about it! Now they are wiping all of the wins from 1998 to 2011 which is 111 wins!!!! And they can't be in a bowl game for 4 years! Do you know what that's going to do to the players' draft stock! It's insanity! If they had no clue about it, then how is it fair!? Lol

First of all it is most probable they knew about it.

How is it fair for them? It's not. It's justice though, they just made the wrong decision to join that team.
But, as the team consists of a coach too, who is usually a teacher, therefore knew about it, and he was part ofbthe team, everyone else is taken in too.
Obciously i can't see it from your perspective, since my choice of career doesnt include being good at sports, therefore I wouldn't care if e.g. My school's basketball team disbanded. But life is full of obstacles, and if some of the players are smart enough they'll know how to get around this.

As for the school, i insist all teachers should be replaced.
After all, if they can't help a kid they know that was being abused, how can they run a whole school full of children?
Concluding, in my opinion this team was made an example pushing other school teams to follow the laws or report laws being broken to the police, or the same could happen to them too. And that's the way it should be.

I see no more neeDs for arguing here, obviously i have different views about how justice should be.
