Is It Possible To Make It So That After Every Person On The Forum Has Posted 10 Times it locks the forum for them until the next day?
I don't think its a bad idea really..it would help out with a lot of the forum spamming to keep from spreading.. :/
Forum Lockdown
Re: Forum Lockdown
Agreed, it is very intimidating for new users to post on topics that are swamped with off topic, often "inside joke" comments. It's meant to be a forum for all, not just for those that have been on a while - sometimes I even find it hard myself to find a place to post in when it's constant posting by the same group of people.
There are many people on here who are happy to post, and I'm sure a 10 post a day lock would boost the post variety, but still keeping within letting people have their views.
To be honest, I'd put the post limit up to 15. There are many topics on fwg, it's a relatively big forum. It'd also convince people to get on chat too, to talk out their opinions instead, meaning chat would be boosted and it'd certainly be livlier.
The post limit would only affect a small group in a "negative" way, but for the rest of the forum it'd be easier to post and much more fun to read.

I would say 20, but 20 posts in one section of the forum is just as much spam as without it...and there is no one of a post limit in just one section, unfortunately. Generally, 5 posts in 3 sections (or 7-8 in 2, 3 in 5, etc) is a good amount for heavy posters.
