Appropriate Teenage Like Behavior

Is there really an appropriate set teenage behavior? Should you act like a young adult and read up on everything you will be faced with in life, or should you party and enjoy being a teenager? Should you choose to goof off in a study hall class, or catch up on some reading?
Should you blow off your homework to go to dinner and a movie with your date?
People say act your age, but what is the proper way to act your age? How would a 14 year old female act upon choices, rather than say an 18 year old male? Which age of teenager has the most acurate mind for making such choices and holding an appropriate balance to becoming an adult?

whatever your heart tells u will always be best.
but if u do everything in balence like partying studying dating and learning (and any others u want to add to the list) everything will be ok
but three things that is commonly thought of as "being a teenager" that should never be thought of as "teenager like" behaviors are
drugs (should never do them in life)
alchol (wait till ur 21 if ever)
and going anywhere farther than kissing your gf (wait till ur married i say)

teenagers, have a tendicy to be selfish. But hey, thats okay. It' natural for a teenager to be selfish, and think aobut hin/her, and put him/her first. It's kinda like, their time, you could say it. Studies have shown, that about 60-80% of teenagers felt selfish, and wanted, wut they wanted. Also, since Teenagers are going through Pueberty, in both male and female, they both get a mody. Some more then others, and i have found myself getting moody

About HOW they SHOULD behave, in my way, is that you should put your family and schoool work first, BUT, you should always hang out iwth your friends, to fool around. Try to balance it out, from good, and bad. If you do, hen great. If your doing bad in school, take time away form hobbies, and frineds to work on your school work, and bring those grades up. If you are a straight B student, B and A student, or striaght A student, you can take a little time away from school, to spend time with your friends, and do the things that you want to do.

By the time the teenagers get close to the ages of 18-21, and on, they should act more responsible. Put more important things, like family, school, carreer, rather than fool around with friends.

Teenager issues are almost impossible to figure out. I fully believe in letting teenagers be able to decide what they like for themselves. I would only consider drugs, alcohol, and recklessness to be out of the question. Everything else would be good to go. It is funny that you bring up this topic because I have inserted a weekly discussion in to my targeted email marketing[campaign to discuss social norms amongst young IT professional and those who work at IT jobs. DM me if you want on the mailing list or visit the page in my profile.

No one teenager is alike. Every teenager goes through changes, that's what being a teenager is all about. You've got hormones, depression, boyfriend/girlfriends, and times when you wonder what this is all for. Everyone deals with this in different ways, and in the end that's what makes you YOU, and what makes you what you are as an adult. So I don't believe there IS an appropriate teenage behavior; every teenager has a different one.

I read in a book titled "The Thomas Jeferson Education for Teens" and it said you should just be you. A quote says that"It is vital that you find out who you are and what your purpose is. Teen years are for knowing who you really are."
