Re: Countries and their nukes
It only takes one nuke to take out SO many people...so those 8000 nukes might be too much because just 10 will take out a few countries....
LET'S GO HATTERS!!!

Re: Countries and their nukes
Hmm...
Love how America is up there.
We are so protective of ourselves.
Plus, we make a mean competitor.

thank god greece ain't up there.I don't think we even HAVE a nuclear facility.
connor, having 8000 nukes is not competition, nor protectiveness. It's pure intimidation, and the same goes for the russians.
NOW,about 12 nukes are enough to destroy everything on the earth

Agreed, 8000 is a ridiculous number to have. They will never need that many and the money spent on each one could have been spent on so many other things.

Re: Countries and their nukes
Its basically a process where one country would start having nuclear facilities with the aim of solving electricity generation problems. And once you have the facilities, there you go, you have nukes. Probably Iran is gonna do the same way under the camouflage of "peaceful purposes" as they say. After looking at USA's number, it just implies how hypocritical it can get (Let's not forget that it was USA who bombed Hiroshima and nagasaki) Now countries which want these nukes would argue, "Look who's talkin and we never started it..." the cold war added to this problem due to the increase in stockpile. Right now, no one suspects USA as much as they do to Iran and it is well justified. India has a "no first use policy' which pretty means "just do it once and we'll go all out on you" and believe me, both india's neighbours Pakistan and China has nukes. It all comes down to actually thinking, "if one nuke can do so much harm, do we really need thousands of those when hardly few are enough to destroy the whole system?" the vicious cycle needs to be broken.
Things happen for a reason, I wish I knew these reasons.
