Tell me what you think of it, and what you think of gay people being in the military in general.

Honestly, I don't see why anyone should care whether or not gays are in the military. They're just people. Keeping gays out of the military is like keeping women out of it, too.

Shouldn't be an issue, really.

However, this is something I don't get.

Heavy mental christian groups are against it, calling the American Army the "Fag army". Doing some really bad stuff, too. Disrupting the funerals of soldiers and stuff.

Surely if they hate gays, they'd happily send them out to dangerous areas to fight for them. If they win then they win, if they lose then a few gay people get killed. And to the haters this wouldn't be a bad thing.

So surely for the real nasty gay haters its win-win for them to allow homosexual people into the army?

On a personal level though, I dont see why where you choose to stick your weiner should dictate how good a soldier you are.

Unless you put it in guns. that would be a problem.

yeah, why should a gay person have to stay out of the military just cuz they arent like you? seriously, we are all people, and sure we do different things, but not letting gay people in the military, is just like being racist. you are against someone cuz they arent like you, and thats not right.

I would take issue to it. I would generally feel uncomfortable, which would probably show in my performence.

I also believe a good majority of the army is of a religeon that disapproves of gay people.

I have no problems with gay people being in the military. However, putting them in with male soldiers is the equivalent of putting female and male soldiers together - not sure how non-gay soldiers would feel having other males checking out their private parts etc when showering.

They are just gay, it isn't like they will violate you in the shower.
