The US legally isn't allowed to deal with a coup government, so he has to support Erdogan otherwise he can't trade with Turkey.
Coup was weak though. They made no effort to keep TV off the air, nor to arrest and/or kill Erdogan. They allowed him to raise support and encourage people to fight against them. I mean literally, I watched Erdogan's government jet (with him on board) circling a part of Turkey on FlightRadar24. They didn't even stop him landing in Istanbul. Weak, weak coup.

US isnt legally allowed to deal with coup govt
Is this a new meme?
Or is it only allowed to create coups
Legality has not much meaning when your country has caused all hell to break loose in your middle east
Indeed coup was weak, i agree there.
And also what was with all the circling instead of say, landing somewhere safe
What if he ran out of fuel, if the coup lasted longer.
Also, pic semi related

Someone has a hard-on for gun debate.
Someone is right
Also someone has no arguments to deny that simple reasoning, apparently

Syrian Government =/= US Government
Syrian Rebels =/= US Public
