its all so very stupid... again. Russia is going to cause a new world wide recession when it gets sanctions thrown on it. The Russian economy will be in tatters and all for a piece of land that they agreed to give to the Ukraine decades ago and then 20 years ago guaranteed its integrity if the Ukraine gov removed the nukes.

If they want to start a war, then any given piece of land can start it. Look at how random the events starting WW1 were for instance (WW2 surprisingly had a stronger start)

One of my friends were like freakng out shouting " Cold war 2" America getting involved in this minny battle. She was so bnkers and telling me that Russia gonna cut out the electrcity and I was like

Russia has literally no sway on American energy. that's why we were so quick to put up sanctions. However, Europe can't say the same. As Russia supplies 30% of their energy.
