I can understand the parents being uncomfortable... I'd be uncomfortable with it, 'cause my beliefs are that there shouldn't be same-sex relationships like that (I don't judge, though, as I have friends who are in those kinds of relationships. I'm just stating my beliefs here). But at the same time, the fact that there are only a couple years between the two girls? Really? Kaitlyn Hunt definitely shouldn't have to live with the title "sex offender" all her life, especially as the relationship was two sided and it began when she was still a minor. It's kinda ridiculous, no matter what one's beliefs about homosexuality are.

And, @ Meiguorach, I respect your opinion, but when an opinion like that becomes so big, it begins to discriminate and take away vital rights away from those kinds of people, like homosexuals, that's where I draw the line. It's fine you disagree with it, but gays aren't fighting for the name, they're fighting for so many rights and benefits that they are denied upon entering a same sex relationship, whether it be a union or partnership.

Reminds me of Romeo and Juliet. Atleast the consequences weren't higher but yea, I don't think the girl should be charged. Certainly wouldn't call it a offence (depends) but as Roach said, uncomfortableness could be a factor/safety. I know beliefs are against the homosexuals but we still have to respect them. They're humans just like us, I don't think they should be treated like, differently.
