So as some of you may or may not know I'm a Boston native. Those of you aware of the events that took place this past Monday and throughout the week most likely have some concept of the pain thats rocked my community to its core.
If there is a positive to be found in the midst of all this tragedy, pain, and death, it lies in the unbroken spirit of the city itself. We've lived up to our claim of "Boston Strong" and remain unintimidated, undivided, and unafraid to continue to exist as we always have. Wicked cool if you ask me- I've never been more proud to call myself a Boston girl.
The city is beginning its healing process now. A visible sign of this can be found at the memorial on Boylston Street- the site of the bombing.
I visited that site today. I've never been more moved by anything in my lifetime. It brought many- including myself the closure they needed from the incident. The pictures below are the ones I've taken.

A final note- do not lose faith in your fellow humans. There were two attackers- there have been millions of supporters to respond to them. When you forget that there's good out there- an infinite amount of it- that's when you become a victim. Thats when they win.
"Be the change you wish to see in the world."
