In Niagara, Falls Canada there is a nice amusement and sea creature amusement park called Marineland and me and my family and friends go there a lot. A few days ago we were exiting the facility and a crowd of protesters were saying that Marineland has been mistreating there animals. Though I heard this on the new I have no I idea if they aren't or are. But, They might decide to give the whales to sea world or not and here are the Pro's and Con's of Whales in amusement parks:

Pro's :

Safe from any predators in the wild and wont die from hunger or disease as easily.

Creates job's as trainers and improves the moral and economy of people.

Con's :

Can't act like a Killer whale (eating aggression) like in the wild and is limited to a tiny space

May be treated poorly and forced to be watched in front of millions of people.

Limbo (no affect on either side) :

Cannot be released because entering a new habitat is dangerous

Whales are social animals so in the wild they can communicate as well as in captivity and they can be picked on.

What do you think?

Its a zoo. Never heard of a zoo giving animals free space.
Except of jurassic park. And we all know how that ended.

Bad kid actors and a series of equally bad sequels?

In an ideal world, no, animals would not be kept in any kind of captivity. I went to Seaworld in Orlando and they don't look natural in the sense as wild dolphins, sea whales, etc.

But then again, they are fed - a lot - and have no chance of dying of starvation or being hunted. They are intelligent creatures and are kept entertained with many different therapies and toys and even the routines.

So really, no need to free the whale as long as things are how they are.

dont like the idea of large animals in captivity. Best to either eat them, or let them be free.

EAAAT THE WHALEEEE!
