I'll state it clearly from now, some crimes deserve the death penalty 999%.
Not only are the prisons in every country full of criminals, but also the criminal actions have risen at extreme percentages (eg. In Greece, burglaries have risen at about 400% since last year.)
Seriously,we need some laws to avoid more criminality rise.
In my opinion, every crime involved with murder should immediately (after a trial, ofcourse) make the criminal pay with their own life.
What do you think?

Yes,but there's also the certainty that a murderer will walk out free again one day. (after 20 years)

Chances of someone being innocent of a murder are relatively small,as today's criminals don't plan a thing. They just get an ak-47 and go on rampage.
Then after 20 years, they get back inside society.
Do you realize crime in America has risen so much, that 1) while 9% of the world lives in America, 25% of the world's prisoners are in America,
2) 1 out of 5 people gets attacked in any way by a criminal each year.
3) Crime rates have increased by 350% since last year.
Seriously, that's not good news. You need order,or everything falls apart...

A lot of excessive investigations are put into use because of the "might be innocent" cases. A lot of people actually believe in an eye for an eye. Say if someone got stabbed...A lot of people believe that the murderer should also be stabbed. I don't believe in it, but what do you think about "eye for an eye".

When justice is corrupt, that's the best option. After all,if you kill someone, nobody's going to say "he regretted it,so it's ok he shouldn't be punished".
The problem is that if you kill anyone, you change the world forever.
It's all a chain of events leading to something bigger. "Chaos Theory",that is.
Example: someone kills you. By that,he kills your possible kids, their kids etc, resulting in a genocide. Also, your possible achievements would never be accomplished and so on. See why killing should be treated with death?

I find that it should kind of be an eye for an eye. But then it depends on the crime. Death, they should face life in prison,or death penalty. It all depends on the crime for the punishment.

the only time i think the death penalty should be in use when it isnt is if a criminal has been sentanced to somthing rediculous like 2 life sentences or 160 years in jail
i would rather die than waste away in a jail for my life...

i dont have much of a problem with the death penalty is far as it is Definitely used as a last resort and they are sure that the person did that crime.
What im really thinking of is death penalty for minors. This is only active in few states. Most kids that preform a hallacious crime when they are young end up regretting it when they are older.
This is an example of someone who did a crime
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eric_Smith_(murderer)
and regrets it.
