Generally, we should just blast America off into space on a rocket ship until it settles all of it's self-destructive internal quarrels, because this is where a great deal of the bad statistics for just about everything comes from.

Yes, because that makes total sense, right? Blow up countries and murder millions of people because the situation of their country makes you uncomfortable.

What does that remind you of, killing people and blowing up nations because they don't meet your standards? I think you all can think of some people who did that in history with me mentioning their names.

And of course, always fight against nations where statistics describe inequality because that is the solution!

While we're at it, lets blow up India, because India provides some uncomfortable statistics about men being sexist, mysogonystic pigs to women and literally treat them as property. They paint a bad picture of us "good" men elsewhere in the world, so lets just blow 'em up because that is what good men do!! kill people who do not fit your standards!!!

Give women equal power you say? Raise kids to not be assholes? No time for that, only time for massive bombings!!!! yaaa!!!! lets do it! Lets blow up Africa, the Middle East, an a majority of Asia and South America because the men there give such a bad name to men elsewhere. They're not needed.

Step one when a country has a problem that can be fixed: just fucking blow that shit up for real yo.

Blasting it up in a rocket ship does not equal blasting it WITH rockets, you see, you misheard me, by putting America in space it can be like putting them in the corner.

I was talking to my granny (grandmother on my mothers side, the heavily female biased side for the gals and male biased for the males, lucky me to be caught in the middle of some of it eh?) and when I commented on our new first minister, Nicola Sturgeon, the first female first minister. She said. "It's not that we should give people a job because we need more of them or such, we should let the right person have the job." Right out of the blue, I really think that in Britain is even our older population can place aside gender discrimination then surely so many other people should be able to. So basically, even my granny thinks you should "get off yer arse and work for those qualifications."

Things like this really give Feminism and Feminists a bad name.

my mom and i were talking the other day and my sister brought up how pro lifers were bombing abortion clinics and my mom said she didn't support that even though she was a pro lifer. my sister said that by being a pro lifer, you're automatically associated with the 'true' pro lifers that do that and that you're going to have to accept how that's what you signed up for.
im not gonna lie, some feminists have done some horrible bull shit, for example, shutting down male abuse clinics, but that's what i have to deal with by being a feminist. i have to accept that even though that's not an aspect of feminism i support, i'm going to have to deal with people associating me with the feminists that do.
so yeah that's my story.

also what's your guys' thoughts on Feminism being a word on the list of words that should be banned in 2015? frankly, none of the words on that list should be banned because, yes, they might be annoying to some people, but it's a part of our culture.
that was dramatic. still ready 2 die tho!

By the “not all men” logic, Russian Roulette is a perfectly safe game to play. Sure, one of the chambers has a bullet in it… but not all chambers.

Actually, women experience sexual violence and rape - not even counting violent assaults and other forms of gendered abuse and violence - more frequently than one in six.

Sooo… by this logic, Russian Roulette is kind of, you know…s a f e r.

Ban words? Why.
I have absolutely no reason to believe that by not saying feminism, Nazis or speaking of Hitler etc makes it any different by people not being able to say Jehova back in the day.
It is literally unheard of.
Banning a word is literally taking away the freedom of speech, and if we even consider having that, then banning words is the last thing we should do.

I don't now how many times I can make this clear, but if there is an idealogy, or movement, or any kind of group that has a set principle, and there are members within the group or idealogy that claim to be with the group, but have principles that are not aligned with the group, then they are not an example of the group.

so in the movement of feminism and striving for gender-nuetral society and women and men being equal to one another and there are some misandrist women in the group, or some women that are waayy too sensitive and attack everything, then they cannot be used to represent the feminist movement because they do not have feminist ideas.
