Well, then based on Tyc's definition of feminism.
Tycoon Witch wrote:feminism: noun
the advocacy of women's rights on the ground of the
equality of the sexes.

Feminism has achieved it's goal and is no longer pursuing its goal. Meaning it is therefore not needed.

Why was that bolded, italicized, recolored, and resized?

emphasis
if women are being discriminated against, there isn't equality. plain as day.

But by your definition feminism was pushing for the advocacy of women's rightso n the ground of equality of the sexes. Nowhere was there an 'and'.
If the definition said
Feminism: noun
the advocacy of equal rights between men and women, and equality of the sexes" it'd be different.

If there can't be equality with discrimination that means that the concept of equality of the sexes is as possible as perpetual energy? Because as long as people are allowed to think freely, there will be people who discriminate.

Anyway, feminism by your definition was not advocating for equality of the sexes. They were advocating for women's rights based on the idea of equality of the sexes.
Essentially, what I want to say is,
To say that Feminism is still needed would be to say the women still don't have equal rights.
And if that is true, I would like to know what rights do Men have, that women don't?

shad already made a whole topic about women's struggle, but i'll pull up a few here

- the right to wear almost whatever you like to a non-uniform school
- and if you go to a uniform school, to not be pulled out for it being too revealing
- women statistically get paid less

here you are: viewtopic.php?f=9&t=19329&start=0

copied and pasted from feminism website:

•Insecure because your body wasn’t big enough, strong enough, or slim enough?
•Pressured to be tough, aggressive and competitive beyond your comfort zone?
•Ashamed of your interest in cooking, fashion, dance, or some other activity because you were told it made you “gay” or “a girl”?
•Offended by media representations of helpless adult men who cannot feed, clothe, or bathe themselves without the help of a woman?
•Burdened by expectations to objectify women, have sex with many women and be sexually aggressive?
•Helpless when dealing with feelings of sadness, hurt, and shame because you were taught to believe that emotions show weakness and that “real men help themselves”?
•Confused at how to be sensitive and kind but still be sexually desirable?
•Alone when you suffered an injury but had to “handle it”?
•Afraid of being called a “sissy,” “wimp,” “f*g,” “p*ssy,” or “b**ch,”?
•Ambivalent about what it means to be a “real man”?

reasons a male may need feminism

If you think those issues of men are issues feminism needs to handle, then don't use the definition of feminism you had posted. Those issues could be and are being address by things like men's rights activism.

Also, none of those women's issues are an actual issue of women's rights.
Schools have their policies on what's okay to wear and what's not. Different schools have different regulations on these things. In cases of schools. It's not an issue of women's rights. It's an issue of whether the school's dress code is fair or not.

Let me ask you a couple questions, then kings

Do you believe that men and women have equal rights?
If yes, do you wish it to stay having equal rights?

Are you a feminist?

feminist: noun
a person who supports feminism.

I am not a feminist. I do not support feminism.
I support equal rights, but not feminism.
At this point in time, I believe that feminism is not necessary in western culture. So I will not support it.
