Pretty much, if a terrorist attack happens, what we SHOULD do is be like "LOLOLOL TERRORISTS CANT KILL PEOPLE LOLOLOL" and pretty much ignore whatever they do. They'll see that they're not accomplishing anything with their "For Jihad ; KABLOOIE ;"s and their threats, so they'll give up. They're like Internet Trolls that like blowing things up.

The terrorists aren't gaining anything by the fear, the Governments are. They use it as an excuse to expand their military, and no matter what if they're liberal or conservative, they'll expand Authoritarian ideas on overpowering the people and taking away rights.

The Government gains much more from terrorist attacks rather than the terrorist group themselves.

Unless you have a Government who doesn't like to oppress their people and actually believes in democracy lol

So, you think the guys that go around blowing themselves up will get discouraged by the minds of US citizens, when A) They don't even communicate with the outside world and B)Don't even care?
Btw, Boston Bombings? Other than a "sign" or just a timed act on that very say, it wasn't a "great terrorist attack o lawd what will we do now" thing. Media just overreacted as usual. Look at what's happening (and more significantly, what is to happen shortly) in the middle east in the span of a month. Then let's talk casualties.

As for governments shadowstar, they can either be aggressive and take terrorist attacks to their benefit or sit passively and wait for the next attacks.

What I'm saying, if we, as Americans, completely disregard Terrorists and don't do anything to, for, against, or with them, their whole strategy (Terror) just WONT WORK. The more Fear a terrorist causes, the more power they have. The more power they have, the more fear they can cause.

The point here though is that people will keep dying. And how do you plan to make a whole nation not worry about terrorist attacks when 2 people die in one event and it's still a hot topic?
