Anyways, I think it's part of the 1st amendment of the US that you have the right to carry weapons.
Kind of a hard rule to break, no?

The Second Amendment grants the militia the ability to carry weapons.

Indeed it's the second, but:
"The Second Amendment (Amendment II) to the United States Constitution is the part of the United States Bill of Rights that protects the right of the people to keep and bear arms. It was adopted on December 15, 1791."

People in general, not militia.

back to the story... I love the NRA statement calling for armed guards in every school. I say we take it a step further and place a tank and at least one military unit in every school. Also, I suggest the NRA pays for this, as it is their idea and their fault everyone is killing kids.

Oh I'm sorry. I thought we were making nonsensical allegations.

That is the common thought process for it, not the intent.

I don't know about all schools, but most of them already gave a police officer in them.

:/ Much better than allowing all teachers to have guns with them at all times during school...

I heard that the person who killed those kids (and teachers) was mental in the head. Sorry if that is'n the right way to say it. To me, people who have mental issues and severe anger issues shouldn't have guns. They might just snap and get really angry. I also think that the people who live with people who have issues shouldn't own guns either. It isn't safe to own a gun anyway. When people go buy a gun, the sellers should do a background check. If they have anger issues, mental issues, or anything like those they shouldn't be able to buy that gun. And sorry, again, if I offended you as the reader.
