First off, you're asking for an impossible statistic that doesn't exist. We're offering you qualitative information in terms of personal experience of three people. Like it it not, that is still data.

For fucks sake, you never understand what I'm saying. I said the point that YOU are trying to prove that Tumblr users AREN'T assholes can also not be proven because there is no statistic for that either and I have yet to see more data other than your personal experience. I'm saying you can't rubbish my argument as wrong and baseless if you can't prove your argument is right and has very substantial basing. Because you can't, it's still a very valid argument.

I'm not trying to prove that a majority of Tumblr aren't assholes. You made a claim and I'm debunking it. You can't present anything useful or reliable to suggest that a majority of Tumblr users are assholes. You made that claim and I'm saying that claim is inaccurate. A bunch of hateful people on a social media does not mean that a majority of them are of similar principles. That's what I've been saying the entire time.

It shouldn't matter the source of a couple paragraphs addressing an issue or a political topic or anything. Just read the fucking thing and evaluate as it is. that screenshot Boxy posted about feminism and gender norms shouldn't be undermined by it's origin.

And as I stated before, if you make claim that you cannot back up, therefore someone else won't agree or acknowledge it, and you say, "oh well you can't prove me wrong so I am right!!11!!" is not and never will be a valid argument or point to justify anything.

You definitely can NOT prove that WW3 would be bad, but you know it.
Why? Cause it is common sense. You've seen past world wars, you've seen what they cause, you see modern wars are ugly and you know if they go to a larger scale then they'd be bad.
Same with tumble. You see in the feeds that people are mostly being assholes, because they are PEOPLE. The MAJORITY of people are assholes. Who do you think uses the internet, the minority of good people that don't really fit in irl?
People use tumble and as we have shown tons of statistics on this very forum of why we should lose faith in the majority of people, that very thing happens here.
Yes you can close your eyes and ears and go LALALALALALA but tumble still will be a bunch of assholes and a few good guys and that's just what most people who think similar to me believe.
Tldr
I believe the internet is a picture of society, and since society is mostly assholes, so is the internet.
I can't back that up, but neither can you back up the opposite.
Its just OPINIONS.

I mean common sense doesn't tell me that because I follow 200+ people and a lot of them reblog pictures videos and text posts that are hurtful,therefore a majority of Tumblr users are assholes, common sense would tell me to unfollow those people and find new people to follow and if they reblog something hurtful then I unfollow them.

Thats what I did. I used to see Justin Bieber on my feed,and i didn't like it. So instead of claiming that everyone on Tumblr loves justin bieber because some of the photos oh him had over 100k notes, I simply unfollowed the people who reblogged it and boom. Haven't seen JB on my feed for a year now.

I wouldnt have known half the things I know without 4chan
4chan taught me also a ton about self defense.
4chan mentally prepared me for defending myself too
4chan has given me a wide variety of words to express mgself. And it definitely showed me there are more sexualities than hetero and homo. Actually they are pros on this field.
4chan has thought me about oppression.
4chan regularly shows me cute (dead) animals

But also 4chan has CP in it, its user post pictures of dead people and make fun of the way they died, and it has pretty much helped create the dark side of the internet as we know it today.

Just cause it has done a few things, it doesn't mean its good.
I mean hell, Hitler did a few badass paintings himself. And he helped create the most badass war outfits ever.
Does that mean he is good?
