This question came up again with my buddies. We all came to the conclusion if you were not looking for attention, then you could obviously hide your preferences. Sadly some people like to push their beliefs on others. So most likely somebody who is making a big deal out of it is either.

- Really cares
- Trying to change opinions
- Trying to prove somthing

These alternatives are not that stunning.
