Do you agree with War?

Is war every moraly justified? Or is war just wrong no matter what.
And, is there such a thing has 'Just Cause' war.

War isnt justified, but it is inevitable. Humans are just like any animals, we fight for territory and survival. Cant go against nature.

While I by no means like war, I think that many times it is needed. And I always support our troops.

You can't answer such a question until youve actually seen war.
And since that applies for VERY few people here....

If its just a question to pass the time, on the other hand, I like war as long as I win it.
That's the basic of war of course. Never start one if not certain of the result.

There are only few wars in history that were actually truly justified without some greedy moral or want behind it.

Practically every war the USA has been in wasn't morally or rightly justified. Hell, we even destroyed Democracy in other countries when Democracy was helping those nations. XD

And a lot of other super powers don't have any better history that the USA does.


War is only okay, if your nation/people have been EXTREMELY threatened, or you need more land for your people so you can continue, without completely destroying the other nation/people you've decided to take land from.


But hey, power gets to you. Every time I play Victoria II or Europa Universalis III, I conquer people for no god damn reason, and do almost anything to get a causis beli, and turn my allies against that nation. But, lately I've tried more, peacefully expanding, like spending 40-60 years to make a country my Vassal and peacefully annex it XD


Now, with me agreeing to war, it all depends really. War is a last resort to get something you want. For example, say I'm i dunno, Farkistan and I own Egypt, and Frook is Frookistan and he owns Israel, but we both got claims on the Sinai Peninsula, and I want it. What do i do? I don't declare war on Frookistan, i speak with Frookistan's leaders and try numerous ways, like give em money to lay off their claims, or even if I realize I don't want the land, I might ask money from Frookistan in return for giving up my Claims to the Peninsula. But, if Frookistan denies even wanting to talk to me and Farkistan's officials, call me names, threatens my people and even influencing a terrorist bombing, and then turns neighboring countries against me to not hate, but dislike my nation and my people just because I requested them to give up their claims on the Sinai Peninsula, then I will consider waging war to Frookistan to take the Peninsula and make them stop their hate.


War is a last resort, and it's sad how countries throw it around like their favorite ball.
