See, English grammar tells me that SPARTIANS should be SPARTANS.

Are Spartians a mix between Spartans and Martians? I'm not sure if Spartans come from mars though. As the definition of a Martian is something that came from Mars, then the Spartians wouldn't be considered Martian, as they wouldn't come from Mars, only their parents would.

Maybe the martians came here, became pregnant by the Spartans then went back to their own planet. That might slip by.
