Who thinks school is a terrible excuse to do in your life?
Me? Nah. School gets you somewhere.

school is an excuse use by parents just to get off our butts and eyes away from the COMPUTER

Actually school (as we know it) was invented by Napoleon to put a stop to child labour.
Because if you wouldn't go to school, you and your 5 siblings would be working the family land (or work in the factory) to provide income for your family.
So you would in fact earn money for your family.

Now since you go to school, you cost money, so parents have less children.
And you don't get to work on the farmland or factory to earn your living, you can advance yourself, learn more knowledge and ultimately make a differnce to the world in making things better.

It's thanks to people going to school for nearly 200 years you in fact have all this technology.

Sometimes we all say school sucks, but really it's pretty darn great. We get education so that we can earn money so that we can have a family so that we can be happy! Really, though it may not seem like it, every human wants something to work on, a challenge to work out, a problem to fix. We act like we don't, but really, if we didn't have them, we'd probably go crazy for having nothing to do! The human brain is always wanting a challenge! With school, we have that challenge everyday! So next time you wake up and think, 'Dangit.. school..' Don't hate school, hate the human brain! xD

Actually, School ish boring. Lol I had a doctors appointment this morning so i gotout of 1 class, and I flipped out on my mom in the store cuz she said she was taking me back!!

School is awesome. If you didn't go to school, you wouldn't see your friends everyday, you wouldn't know to many people, and you wouldn't knowhow to spell. It's a learning enviroment to promote good skills that you need in life. It also creates people who can change the world either by technology or by Peace.

I can understand going to school, but not how long it is; some people going to school for 30 of the average 70 year life sounds horrible to me.

It's only going to get worse.
200 years ago people only needed to learn how to read and possibly write.
school was therefor only for the really young up to 12 years old.
then it was read/write and basic maths. (also 12 years old but more schooldays)
And standards were always set higher and higher.
Then they made it mandatory 'till 14, then 16, now it's 18. (in some countries still 16, all depends on the way you're being taught)
And considering there is so much more knowledge every day adding to the knowledge already. for example.
computer skills were not included standard in lessons 20 years ago, now they are.
Obviously someone along the way opted that they would simply drop some other subject rather then let you be in school mandatory 'till you're 21.

So your children will learn something totally different and more and longer than what you're learning now.
Just ask your (grand)parents.
