So, I've designed a basic template for my idle game in p5, all I need now is a theme. I hope all of you remember cookie clicker, because it was my favorite ideal game. It had the the theme of owning cookies, and you could purchase various upgrades to increase your production.

I need help picking a theme for our game? I was thinking Cafe Clicker and we run a coffee shop. Score would be in fr00k$. What types of upgrades can we have? What do you guys think? Any theme ideas?

I like the coffee shop idea.
Maybe one upgrade can be "fancy art" so the coffee bring in more of the money, but it comes with a disadvantage like "Longer time"

How about a game where you play as a communist revolutionary. Each click frees a wage slave from their chains and adds them to your party. The workers liberated from disgusting capitalist oppression unlocks options such as communist papers to recruit more of the proletariat into your party to eventually topple the cruel bourgeoisie ruling class and eliminate class inequality once and for all.

Thinking of the upgrade tree? Any ideas?

I could do that as a side project, basically just changing text and graphics.

Coffee shop.
You must include the common stuff as well as different types of drinks. (Okay, not a must, but can make it a lot easier.)
Also, not sure if you've ever played a game called lemonade stand, but something similar could be incorporated into the game in regards to the coffee (how it's brewed and grinded for example, which can vary for extra points and such.)
There can also be some form of upgrades around your shop (Keep it basic). (Stuff like upgrading Wi-Fi, bar stools, seats, workers, etc.)
