When I was a young frook with no money, my sister and I would wrap our old toys and place them under the xmas tree for each other. I cant say how many times I was given the same teddy year after year. But at least we had something extra for xmas and some fun doing it.

Re: Xmas stories
thats pretty sweet frook
my xmas story tho isnt as sweet. one year, i asked for a wario game on the wii and my mam got it, but she wrapped it with all my brothers other games. the wrapping was labelled his name and so he kept the game despite me asking for it. i was so fed up of asking for it back that i told my mam and she slapped him, took the game out of the wii, put it in its case and gave it to me. my brother was so pissed he tried to hold back tears and played some other game he got and i felt victorious

Re: Xmas stories
another story of mine...
I think I was 9 or 10 years old and money was tight in the family. I always wanted a remote control car for xmas... kept on asking for one and hoping. Woke up Xmas day not quite knowing what to expect and went to the Xmas tree only to find I got a beach towel instead. Probably one of the most depressing Xmas presents I've had, so after seeing it, I just ran back to bed. I remember mum chased after me and said to look in the towel - there was $10 in it. That cheered me up a little... but was still feeling quite down about Xmas that year.
