Ok so if you don't want to read my frustrated rant then here is your heads up to ignore this post.

So today I was only working for 4 hours, but when I went to leave work I had forgotten to turn my lights off on my car and so my battery was totally dead! My dad had to come jump start my car...so that was annoying because it was cold and rainy outside and I just wanted to go home. Sometimes I'm stupid... so there's that. But what I'm REALLY angry about is how selfish and insensitive people can be!
At work we are raffling off a 25lb chocolate bunny to earn money for the Relay for Life. It's something the American Cancer Society is putting on at a high school in my area where people will walk all night to earn money to help people who have cancer. Ok, so we have to tell everyone who comes in about this charity raffle and this one is kind of personal to me because my mom has had cancer twice and I have lost a cousin to Leukemia and cancer just plain sucks.
Ok, so this one guy comes in and this was the conversation:
Me: Would you like to donate to our chocolate for charity raffle? It's just a dollar a ticket or 6 tickets for $5 and all the money goes to the Relay for Life.
Stupid man I would like to punch in the face: nah, I don't like people *laughs like he thinks he's funny*
I seriously wanted to be like "You do realize that it's for people with cancer, right you ignorant shithead" but I just looked at him like he was stupid and as flatly as possible said "what can I get you?" And I kept thinking "Don't make it personal, he's just a stupid ignorant jerk. Don't make things personal." He even had the nerve to flirt with me. I should have beat the tar outta that jerk, but I value my job too much... He probably didn't even know what the Relay for Life even was and just thought he was being funny. What would have been funny is if he spilled his hot chocolate on his pants. THAT would have been funny.
Look, I don't care if you don't want to participate in donating to a charity cause, but don't be an asshole and try to make a joke of it, especially if you don't even know what the charity is for! Sometimes I just really hate people. Like a lot...
So there is my rant. If you actually read it I will be impressed.

I didn't get his name, but I did have his credit card...I should have copied the number down jk jk I wouldn't do that. Anyway... This months promotion (that's what we call the things we are all in competition to sell the most of, this month its the charity tickets) is going to be hard on me because I can't allow it to be personal but I really want people to support because cancer is a scary thing and we need all the help we can get for the people who end up with cancer...

Also, guess who got paper work for Jury Duty yesterday!!! If you guessed "Kate did!" then you are absolutely right and win nothing, because that is not something worth winning anything for! And I know that made no sense and I DONT CARE!!! I don't even care that I didn't use an apostrophe in that capitalized don't, that's how much I don't care... Now bye... I have to get ready for work before I make myself late and get in trouble, because THAT WOULD BE FRIGGIN JUST GREAT!

And I know that made no sense and I DONT CARE!!! I don't even care that I didn't use an apostrophe in that capitalized don't, that's how much I don't care... Now bye... I have to get ready for work before I make myself late and get in trouble, because THAT WOULD BE FRIGGIN JUST GREAT!

Do any of you know about something called the Digi Tour???
Apparently Alan's sister and one of her friends had a VIP pass to that and so Alan asked me to be his "copilot" (something he's called me since High School because I would ride shotgun and go pretty much everywhere with him) for the day. I figured we would drop the girls off and then spend the next few hours wandering around the city and just hanging out, but we actually ended up waiting in line for 2 1/2 hours because it looked kinda shady and we didn't dare leave the two in a crowd of strangers...especially since they seemed pretty...um...interesting. (one was being a care bear against the chain link fence...) After waiting the 2 1/2 hours this guy comes out and was explaining what all was going to happen and then he looks at Alan and says "For you parents...you are a parent right?" and I just busted up laughing and Alan was like "no...I'm a brother...not a father..." (he was the ONLY boy in the crowd so I guess that automatically made him a father??? I have no idea) AAAANYWAY! So the girls went in and Alan and I walked around an outdoor mall and went and had ice cream and then we went to the actual concert later on... There were literally 3 other guys, but they were all gay/bi/not straight so Alan felt hella uncomfortable haha. Of course all the people in the tour were male, so it makes sense that it was a crowd full of fan girls. The ONLY thing scarier than zombies is fan girls...that is what I have come to a decision about.
I have to say just ONE thing though... when the guy on stage asked "alright, how many of you ladies or gentlemen are single!?" Alan hugged me from behind and just smiled. I'm not sure, but I think that was his way of saying "this one is mine". I'm not going to assume anything though, because I never know and I hate getting disappointed.
So yeah, that's what I was up to all day. Here I thought I was just going to spend a few hours wandering around the city with Alan and I ended up going to a tweenager "concert" with him.

and also, when referring to a bunch of people you know are not "straight" (and to save you time from doing all the xxx/xxx/xxx), just call em queer. queer is like an umbrella term.
