So, I'm trying to propose this one more time in a more organized way.


Entertainment forum would be for discussion of overall entertainment. TV, Movies, Games, Anime, Music. This would eliminate a lot of redundant threads in General Chat. Anime Freaks could be moved into this forum as a subforum. Game Chat could either be converted into this or also made a subforum here. It'd just be more organized. Perhaps, like some forums do, Entertainment forum could just be there as a parent board to the subforums (TV, movies, Games, Anime, music) or we could leave Anime as the only subforum. Anyway, that's it.

Yeah! There could be threads dedicated to bands or dedicated to shows or dedicated to entire genres and it'd be great for discussion.

All of those things are what general chat is made up of.

What exactly would people post about in general chat? Gen chat is the entertainment forum. You're just going to be creating a forum basically to kill off another one.

And it just creates more work.

This logic also debunks the reason for a girl and guy sub forum because those all can go in General.

literally anything can go into general, but general is a mess.

Entertainment is more specific.

I want to make topics about specific artists to show them off and it'll look like spam in General, but in an Entertainment topic, it won't be.

I'm sure others would want to make specific topics about their favorite TV shows and they can discuss that too. Adding these sub forums just makes things more specific.

Another Subforum after having moved a subforum into a subsubforum position would make us look a little bit more organized.

A "clean sweep," would be a temporary solution to a permanent problem.

Another subforum like the entertainment subforum could be great for organization purposes.

We just can't go overboard with it.

no one is asking for a million subforums, and they don't make things cluttered they make things organized.

All I'm saying is Gen Chat is 98% entertainment threads anyway.

So why make a sepearte sub-forum for entertainment threads when Gen chat is called general Chat for you to post all of that nonsense? It just doesn't make sense. A forum would die for a subforum to be created. And then we have two floppy forums.

Lets make it easier and just give everyone in fwg their own sub-forum.

My opinion is usually useless anyway
