What if someone put a topic in the chatroom? I mean, like, people don't have to talk specifically about that topic, but if someone is talking to someone else who's a bad conversation carrier (like me) than it would give them something to talk about, without making it seem out of the blue. I was thinking it could go up at the top bar where the "Follow us on Twitter!" and the theme week goes, or something. At least for the General Chat? And like, it could change every day or week or something.
There's probably some reason why this is a really bad suggestion...

So, like, a Topic of the day? I don't see where this would go wrong but it would take a lot of work on the CMs' part so I think it'd be up to them. Just as well we'd need people contributing to what topic should be next. I, for one, say unsolved mysteries. Those are fun. Also, I think this might work better in room 2, it being the flood room for discussion.
