Idk if we had a topic about this, but for all of the wasted usernames on the forums, like ones that were created and never used, or no longer in use, we should shut them down and delete them.

I should create a name gobbler thingie thing and it will consume all the old names.

I'm tired of looking at the "Registered Users" and trying to find a specific person, but I'm scrolling through about 100 pages, and it's so annoying because more than 3/4 of those people don't use the account.

agreed too many names can clog up the user database and make searching for people hard

+ with the influx of ptd users we have to go through more names

I can’t even see mie name on there. >:( Sooo many people on there... names of thousands of FWGers... *starts to count mie fingers* Nope... not enough...*counts toez*

i try to find a person or find a name and it takes so long! i giveup half the time

That's why once you've the person once, you add them as a friend and you can find them in a snap in your User Control Panel without having to scroll through thousands of useless names.

The only bad effect from that would be if someone had to leave for a period of time then came back and all of their info was deleted, This should only happen if the person leaves forever but if they leave a message informing they are leaving for a short period of time this should not happen to their profile.

Wii, there are ways to do this.
And I can assure you, we would never users who have only been inactive for a short period of time.

Other than that, it's been done.
